Easiest way to become free from miseries of material existence

“Every living entity is always distressed in this material world because this place is such that at every step one has to meet with some kind of distress.” SB 2.7.15 purport

We were wondering what the solution is. Here are some evidences that we found:

“If we simply talk about Krsna and hear about Him, the stage will come when we will no longer suffer…... When we feel pleasure from hearing about Krsna and talking about Him, we should know that we are making progress on the path of perfection. At that time, material suffering will not be felt at all.” TLK Vs 23

“That is the way to transform mundane things into spiritual identity. The whole world can be transformed into Vaikuṇṭha if all worldly activities are dovetailed with kṛṣṇa-kathā.” [SB 3.5.10 / PURPORT]

We asked which specific Krishna katha can help solve the miseries of life, and found this evidence:

“There are two important kṛṣṇa-kathās current in the world—Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Bhagavad-gītā is kṛṣṇa-kathā because it is spoken by Kṛṣṇa, whereas Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is kṛṣṇa-kathā because it narrates about Kṛṣṇa. Lord Caitanya advised all His disciples to preach kṛṣṇa-kathā all over the world without discrimination because the transcendental value of kṛṣṇa-kathā can purify one and all from material contamination.” SB 3.5.10 / PURPORT

We asked what if we neither have a person in our lives that we can talk about Krishna with, or we don’t have the time to talk about these books. We found these evidences:

“Caitanya Mahaprabhu has prescribed the most important process — sravanam. We need only hear, and that will make our lives successful.” Teachings of Lord Kapila, chp 12, pg 170

“Even third-class devotees who have no literary knowledge or no time to read Srimad-Bhagavatam or Bhagavad-gita have the opportunity to hear about the pastimes of the Lord. In this way their minds may remain always absorbed in the thought of the Lord — His form, His activities and His transcendental nature. This state of Krsna consciousness is a liberated stage.” TLK Vs 36
